Sunan Ibn Majah 1525
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ يَقْظَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الأَسْقَعِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " صَلُّوا عَلَى كُلِّ مَيِّتٍ وَجَاهِدُوا مَعَ كُلِّ أَمِيرٍ " .

Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Sulami narrated to us; Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us; al-Harith ibn Nabhan narrated to us; Utbah ibn Yaqzan narrated to us, from Abu Sa‘id, from Makhul, from Wathilah ibn al-Asqa‘, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Perform the prayer over every deceased person, and strive alongside every commander.’
