Sunan Ibn Majah 1539
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنِ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يُفْرَغَ مِنْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " . قَالُوا وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ " مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ " .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Abd al-A‘la narrated to us, from Ma‘mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘Whoever performs the funeral prayer receives one qirat, and whoever waits until it is finished receives two qirats.’ They asked, ‘What are the two qirats?’ He replied, ‘Like two mountains.’
