What was narrated concerning sitting in the graveyards Sunan Ibn Majah 1548
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي جِنَازَةٍفَقَعَدَ حِيَالَ الْقِبْلَةِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Bara’ bin ‘Azib said
“We went out with theMessenger of Allah (ﷺ) for a funeral, and he sat facing the Qiblah(prayer direction).”
