Sunan Ibn Majah 1554
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَكَّامُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اللَّحْدُ لَنَا وَالشَّقُّ لِغَيْرِنَا " .

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us; Hakkam ibn Salm al-Razi narrated to us; he said: I heard Ali ibn Abd al-A‘la mention, from his father, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘The side-niche grave is for us, and the trench grave is for others.’
