حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us; Mus‘ab ibn al-Miqdam narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from Shaqiq, from Masruq, who said: Aishah said: I have never seen anyone suffer pain more severely than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
