What was narrated concerning the death and burial of the Prophet (SAW) Sunan Ibn Majah 1633
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَكُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَإِنَّمَا وَجْهُنَا وَاحِدٌ فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ نَظَرْنَا هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Ubayy bin Ka’b said
“We were with the MessengerofAllah (ﷺ) and we all had a single focus, but when he passed awaywestarted to look here and there (i.e., have different interests).”
