Sunan Ibn Majah 1462
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا وَكَفَّنَهُ وَحَنَّطَهُ وَحَمَلَهُ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَلَمْ يُفْشِ عَلَيْهِ مَا رَأَى خَرَجَ مِنْ خَطِيئَتِهِ مِثْلَ يَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .

Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Abd al-Rahman al-Muharibi narrated to us; Abbad ibn Kathir narrated to us, from Amr ibn Khalid, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Asim ibn Damrah, from Ali, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Whoever washes a deceased person, shrouds him, applies burial perfume to him, carries him, and performs the funeral prayer over him, without disclosing what he saw, will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him.’
