حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ صَامَ مَنْ صَامَ الأَبَدَ " .

Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Waki narrated to us, from Mis‘ar and Sufyan, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Abu al-Abbas al-Makki, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘He has not fasted who fasts forever.’
