حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْقَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ لاَ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ مَا أَنَا قُلْتُ: " مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَلْيُفْطِرْ " . مُحَمَّدٌ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَهُ .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us; they said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Yahya ibn Ja‘dah, from Abdullah ibn Amr al-Qari, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: ‘No—by the Lord of the Ka‘bah, I did not say, “Whoever wakes up in a state of major ritual impurity, let him break his fast.” Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said it.’
