Sunan Ibn Majah 1703
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَبِيتُ جُنُبًا. فَيَأْتِيهِ بِلاَلٌ، فَيُؤْذِنُهُ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَيَقُومُ فَيَغْتَسِلُ. فَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى تَحَدُّرِ الْمَاءِ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ. ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ فَأَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهُ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ . قَالَ مُطَرِّفٌ: فَقُلْتُ لِعامِرٍأفِي رَمَضَانَ؟ قَالَ رَمَضَانُ وَغَيْرُهُ سَوَاءٌ .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha‘bi, from Masruq, from Aishah, who said: ‘The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would spend the night in a state of major ritual impurity. Bilal would come and inform him of the prayer, so he would get up and perform ghusl. I would see water running down from his head. Then he would go out, and I would hear his voice during the dawn prayer.’ Mutarrif said: ‘I asked Amir, “Was this in Ramadan?” He said, “Ramadan and other than it are the same.”’
