Sunan Ibn Majah 1693
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ: " اسْتَعِينُوا بِطَعَامِ السَّحَرِ عَلَى صِيَامِ النَّهَارِ وَبِالْقَيْلُولَةِ عَلَى قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ " .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us; Abu Amir narrated to us; Zam‘ah ibn Salih narrated to us, from Salamah, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘Seek help for the daytime fast with the pre-dawn meal, and for standing in prayer at night with the midday rest.’
