حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ تَسَحَّرُوا فَإِنَّ فِي السَّحُورِ بَرَكَةً ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ahmad ibn Abdah informed us; Hammad ibn Zayd informed us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Suhayb, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Eat the pre-dawn meal, for there is blessing in the pre-dawn meal.’
