What was narrated concerning cupping for one who is fasting Sunan Ibn Majah 1680
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، أَنْبَأَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا أَسْمَاءَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ: " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ "
Translation
It wasnarrated that Thawban said
“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say:‘Thecupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break theirfast.’”
