What was narrated concerning fasting while traveling Sunan Ibn Majah 1661
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَصَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي السَّفَرِ وَأَفْطَرَ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)fasted while he was traveling, and he broke his fast.”
