Sunan Ibn Majah 1778
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا فِي حُجْرَتِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .

Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Waki‘ narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Aishah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was observing i‘tikaf, he would bring his head close to me, and I would wash it and comb it while I was in my chamber and menstruating, and he was in the mosque.
