What was narrated concerning the person observing I`tikaf washing his head and combing his hair Sunan Ibn Majah 1778
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا فِي حُجْرَتِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Aishah said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) usedtobring his head towards me when he was next door (observingI’tikaf),and I would wash it and comb his hair, when I was in myapartment andI was menstruating, and he was in the mosque.”
