The virtue of the last ten days of the month of Ramadan Sunan Ibn Majah 1768
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ نِسْطَاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا دَخَلَتِ الْعَشْرُ أَحْيَا اللَّيْلَ وَشَدَّ الْمِئْزَرَ وَأَيْقَظَ أَهْلَهُ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Aishah said
“When the last ten days of Ramadanbegan, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to stay up at night, tighten hiswaist-wrap, and wake up his family (to pray).”
