Sunan Ibn Majah 1765
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، حَكِيمِ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَنَّةَ الأَسْلَمِيِّ، صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " الطَّاعِمُ الشَّاكِرُ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ الصَّابِرِ " .

Ismail ibn Abdullah al-Raqqi narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Ja‘far narrated to us; Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Hurrah, from his paternal uncle Hakim ibn Abi Hurrah, from Sinan ibn Sannah al-Aslami, a Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘The one who eats and gives thanks has a reward like that of the one who fasts and is patient.’
