Sunan Ibn Majah 1745
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ زَكَاةٌ وَزَكَاةُ الْجَسَدِ الصَّوْمُ " . زَادَ مُحْرِزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " الصِّيَامُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ " .

Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us. And Muharriz ibn Salamah al-Adani narrated to us; Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us. Both transmit from Musa ibn Ubaydah, from Jumhan, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Everything has a zakah, and the zakah of the body is fasting.’ Muharriz added in his narration: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘Fasting is half of patience.’
