What was narrated concerning the prohibition of fasting on the days of Tashriq Sunan Ibn Majah 1719
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَيَّامُ مِنًى، أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said
“The days of Mina (11th, 12th, and 13thof Dhul-Hijjah) are daysof eating and drinking.’”
