Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Sulami narrated to us; he said: Ubaydullah narrated to us; he said: Shayban informed us, from Yahya, from Abu Qilabah, who related that Shaddad ibn Aws, while walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in al-Baqi, passed a man undergoing cupping after eighteen nights of the month had passed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘The one who performs cupping and the one who undergoes it have broken the fast.’

The time reference is kept as ‘after eighteen nights of the month had passed’; the source does not name the month here.
The two cupping terms are rendered as the person performing the procedure and the person undergoing it.
