حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَتَمَثَّلُ عَلَى صُورَتِي " .

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me while awake, for Satan cannot take my form.’
