Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارٍ، - هُوَ الدُّهْنِيُّ - عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَتَمَثَّلُ بِي " .

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me, for Satan cannot take my likeness.’
