Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يُخْبِرِ النَّاسَ بِتَلَعُّبِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ " .

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘If one of you has a disturbing dream, he should not tell people about Satan’s tampering with him in his sleep.’
