حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ اعْتَبِرُوهَا بِأَسْمَائِهَا وَكَنُّوهَا بِكُنَاهَا وَالرُّؤْيَا لأَوَّلِ عَابِرٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said

“Interpret them (dreams) in accordance with the names of thethingsyou see, and understand what is hinted at, and the dream is forthefirst interpreter.”
