Concerning eating and drinking of one who is sexually impure
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، وَغُنْدَرٌ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ تَوَضَّأَ .
Translation
It was narrated that 'Aishah said
"If the Messenger of Allah wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution."
