Prohibition of relieving oneself in the middle of the road Sunan Ibn Majah 330
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَى قَارِعَةِ الطَّرِيقِ أَوْ يُضْرَبَ الْخَلاَءُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ يُبَالَ فِيهَا .
Translation
Salim narrated from his father that
The Prophet forbade praying in the middle of the road, or defecating there, or urinating.
