Siwak (tooth stick) Sunan Ibn Majah 291
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ كَنِيزٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَاجٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَإِنَّ أَفْوَاهَكُمْ طُرُقٌ لِلْقُرْآنِ فَطَيِّبُوهَا بِالسِّوَاكِ .
Translation
It was narrated that 'Ali bin Abu Talib said
"Your mouths are the paths of the Qur'an, so perfume them with the tooth stick."
