حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ بِلاَلٌ لاَ يُؤَخِّرُ الأَذَانَ عَنِ الْوَقْتِ وَرُبُّمَا أَخَّرَ الإِقَامَةَ شَيْئًا .

Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Sharik narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: Bilal would not delay the call to prayer beyond its time, though he would sometimes delay the iqamah a little.
