حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ، فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَّ صَوْتِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ وَشَاهِدُ الصَّلاَةِ يُكْتَبُ لَهُ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حَسَنَةً وَيُكَفَّرُ عَنْهُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا " .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Shababah narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Musa ibn Abi 'Uthman, from Abu Yahya, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I heard [unclear wording] concerning the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: ‘The caller to prayer is forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and everything moist and dry seeks forgiveness for him. Whoever attends the prayer is credited with twenty-five good deeds, and what is between them is expiated for him.’
