حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُخْتَارُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الأَزْرَقُ الْبُرْجُمِيُّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ أَذَّنَ مُحْتَسِبًا سَبْعَ سِنِينَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بَرَاءَةً مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Mukhtar ibn Ghassan narrated to us: Hafs ibn 'Umar al-Azraq al-Burjumi narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas. (A second route:) Rawh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us: 'Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqiq narrated to us: Abu Hamzah narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Whoever calls the prayer seeking reward for seven years, Allah will grant him a guarantee of freedom from the Fire.’
