Abu Badr 'Abbad ibn al-Walid narrated to me: Ma'mar ibn Muhammad ibn 'Ubaydullah ibn Abi Rafi', the client of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrated to me: My father, Muhammad ibn 'Ubaydullah, narrated to me, from his father 'Ubaydullah, from Abu Rafi', who said: I saw Bilal calling the prayer in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), repeating each phrase twice, and pronouncing each phrase of the iqamah once.
