حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar reported to us; Yahya ibn Said reported to us, from Shubah, from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray the noon prayer when the sun had declined from its zenith.
