حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَبَسَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Hafs ibn 'Amr narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us. (A second route:) Yahya ibn Hakim narrated to us: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us. Both said: Muhammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, from Zubayd, from Murrah, from 'Abdullah, who said: The polytheists detained the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the 'Asr prayer until the sun set. He said: ‘They kept us from the middle prayer. May Allah fill their graves and houses with fire.’
