Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Abu Muawiyah and Waki narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever obeys me has obeyed Allah, and whoever disobeys me has disobeyed Allah.

Notes and open questions — unreviewed
  • The Arabic gives Abu Muawiyah and Waki together in the chain before al-Amash, then states the paired relationship between obedience to the Messenger and obedience to Allah.
