حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي حَيَّةَ أَبُو جَنَابٍ الْكَلْبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَلاَ هَامَةَ " . فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الْبَعِيرَ يَكُونُ بِهِ الْجَرَبُ فَيُجْرِبُ الإِبِلَ كُلَّهَا قَالَ " ذَلِكُمُ الْقَدَرُ فَمَنْ أَجْرَبَ الأَوَّلَ " .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and 'Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; they said: Waki' narrated to us; Yahya ibn Abi Hayyah, Abu Janab al-Kalbi, narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no contagion, no ill omen, and no Hamah. A Bedouin man stood and said: Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a camel with mange that then gives mange to all the camels? He said: That is divine decree; so who gave the first one mange?
