حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَبُوهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Wasiti narrated to us; al-Mu'alla ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us; Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than they are.
