حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذْنُكَ عَلَىَّ أَنْ تَرْفَعَ الْحِجَابَ وَأَنْ تَسْمَعَ سِوَادِي حَتَّى أَنْهَاكَ " .

'Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; 'Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn 'Ubaydullah, from Ibrahim ibn Suwayd, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Your permission to come to me is that you raise the curtain and hear my private speech until I forbid you.
