حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ اتَّخَذَنِي خَلِيلاً كَمَا اتَّخَذَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلاً فَمَنْزِلِي وَمَنْزِلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تِجَاهَيْنِ وَالْعَبَّاسُ بَيْنَنَا مُؤْمِنٌ بَيْنَ خَلِيلَيْنِ " .

'Abd al-Wahhab ibn al-Dahhak narrated to us; Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Safwan ibn 'Amr, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Kathir ibn Murrah al-Hadrami, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah has taken me as a close friend, as He took Abraham as a close friend. My dwelling and Abraham's dwelling in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection will face each other, with al-'Abbas between us, a believer between two close friends.
