حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ صُبَيْحٍ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لِعَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ " أَنَا سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمْتُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبْتُمْ " .

Al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Khallal and Ali ibn al-Mundhir reported to us; they said: Abu Ghassan reported to us, from Asbat ibn Nasr, from al-Suddi, from Subayh, the freedman of Umm Salamah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn, ‘I am at peace with whoever is at peace with you, and at war with whoever is at war with you.’
