حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " ائْذَنُوا لَهُ مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ " .

Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah and Ali ibn Muhammad reported to us; they said: Waki reported to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Hani ibn Hani, from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: I was sitting with the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) when Ammar ibn Yasir asked permission to enter. The Prophet said, ‘Admit him; welcome to the good and purified one.’
