حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اهْتَزَّ عَرْشُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ " .

Ali ibn Muhammad reported to us: Abu Muawiyah reported to us, from al-Amash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘The Throne of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, shook at the death of Sad ibn Muadh.’
