حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الأَنْصَارَ وَأَبْنَاءَ الأَنْصَارِ وَأَبْنَاءَ أَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ " .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah reported to us: Khalid ibn Makhlad reported to us: Kathir ibn Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Awf reported to me, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘May Allah have mercy on the Ansar, their children, and their children’s children.’
