Sunan Ibn Majah 171
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَيَقْرَأَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الإِسْلاَمِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ " .

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Suwayd ibn Said reported to us; they said: Abu al-Ahwas reported to us, from Simak, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘People from my community will indeed recite the Quran and pass out of Islam as an arrow passes through its prey.’
