Muhammad ibn al-Ala al-Hamdani reported to us: Abdullah ibn Idris reported to us, from al-Amash, from Abu Salih al-Samman, from Abu Said, who said: We asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord?’ He said, ‘Do you jostle one another to see the sun at midday when there are no clouds?’ We replied, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Do you jostle one another to see the full moon on a cloudless night?’ They said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘You will not jostle one another in seeing Him, just as you do not jostle one another in seeing those two.’
