حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " جَنَّتَانِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَجَنَّتَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ آنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا وَمَا بَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلاَّ رِدَاءُ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي جَنَّةِ عَدْنٍ " .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar reported to us: Abu Abd al-Samad Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd al-Samad reported to us: Abu Imran al-Jawni reported to us, from Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Qays al-Ashari, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘There are two gardens of silver, their vessels and all that is in them, and two gardens of gold, their vessels and all that is in them. Between the people and their seeing their Lord, Blessed and Exalted, there is nothing but the veil of Majesty over His Face in the Garden of Eden.’
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
The Arabic says ridā’ al-kibriyā’ (‘the mantle/veil of Majesty’); the witness renders this as ‘Veil of Pride.’
