حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ عَلَّمَ عِلْمًا فَلَهُ أَجْرُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ لاَ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْعَامِلِ " .

Aḥmad ibn ʿĪsā al-Miṣrī narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh ibn Anas, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever teaches some knowledge will have the reward of whoever acts upon it, without diminishing the reward of the one who acts at all.”
