حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنْ إِنْشَادِ الضَّالَّةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ‏.‏

Muhammad ibn Ramh informed us: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us. (A second route:) Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us. Both narrated from Ibn 'Ajlan, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade announcing lost property in the mosque.
