حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الرَّجُلَ يَعْتَادُ الْمَسَاجِدَ فَاشْهَدُوا لَهُ بِالإِيمَانِ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى {إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ} الآيَةَ .

Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Rishdin ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn al-Harith, from Darraj, from Abu al-Haytham, from Abu Sa'id, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘When you see a man regularly frequenting the mosques, bear witness for him that he has faith.’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘Only those maintain Allah's mosques who believe in Allah’—through the end of the verse.
