حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْمُقْرِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ تَعَالَ فَخُطَّ لِي مَسْجِدًا فِي دَارِي أُصَلِّي فِيهِ وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ مَا عَمِيَ فَجَاءَ فَفَعَلَ ‏.‏

Yahya ibn al-Fadl al-Muqri' narrated to us: Abu 'Amir narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, that a man from the Ansar sent word to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): ‘Come and mark out a mosque for me in my house where I can pray.’ This was after he had become blind. The Messenger came and did so.
