حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يُقْتَلُ مُسْلِمٌ بِكَافِرٍ " .

Hisham ibn Ammar reported to us: Hatim ibn Ismail reported to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Ayyash reported to us, from Amr ibn Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘A Muslim is not to be killed in retaliation for a non-Muslim.’
